I am a civil engineer. I am exposed to the distresses of kidney patients when my wife Smitha had to undergo dialysis and transplant. Luckily for her, by God’s grace, she underwent cadaver transplant of kidney in Oct 2007, donated by a kind family after the demise of a member.
I realised that organ donation is one of the greatest sacrifices a human being can make to fellow beings. It is nothing less than the sacrifices of soldiers who die fighting in wars. The awareness of society in this regard is little.
This site is created to create awareness on organ tranplant and as a patient side campaign site
