Everyone of us die. Thousands of people die every day. But Shri.Vijayaraghavan died differently. His family made a great sacrifice when they donated his organs giving lives to 5 suffering individuals. His kidneys, liver and eyes still live in other people.
On 5th October 2007 Shri. Vijayaraghavan was admitted in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences Kochi. He was brain dead and would soon expire when the doctors of AIMS requested his family and his family conceded. Their great sacrifice will no doubt add to their karmas with heartful blessings of the recepients’ families. I wish the nation honour such noble sacrifices with appropriate titles and honours.
